You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex PHP-based applications and systems. You will lead a team of talented developers, coaching them in their professional growth. Together with your team, you will ensure continuous improvement of the codebase and architecture. You will work closely with product owners and other stakeholders to define and realize the technical roadmap. Additionally, you will be actively involved in code reviews, implementing best practices, and ensuring the quality of our software. All of this takes place in an informal atmosphere that encourages personal development and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of talented PHP developers.
• Design, develop, and implement complex PHP-based applications and systems.
• Define and realize the technical roadmap in collaboration with product owners and stakeholders.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Safeguard the quality of the software.
• Continuously improve the codebase and architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a PHP Developer.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Proven experience with Laravel and Symfony frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A true team player who can motivate and inspire others.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
