Introduction

Are you passionate about the intersection of monitoring, performance, and cloud, where you can truly see what's happening in complex systems? As a Lead Observability Consultant at Sopra Steria, you will work with public organizations and enterprise clients in environments where systems demand continuous availability and performance directly impacts users and processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure the Dynatrace platform in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises landscapes.
• Ensure monitoring seamlessly integrates with existing infrastructure and data becomes actionable.
• Advise clients on leveraging observability for proactive management, AIOps, and understanding business impact.
• Guide teams towards a more proactive approach, intervening earlier in potential issues.
• Train and mentor DevOps and operations teams in using Dynatrace and integrating observability into CI/CD processes.
• Design dashboards, reports, and alerts for practical, immediate use.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain transparent environments where problems are quickly identified and resolved.
• Contribute to Sopra Steria's observability proposition, shaping tooling, approaches, and project setups.
• Continuously deepen your expertise in Dynatrace and pursue relevant certifications.

Requirements

• Completed HBO or WO degree in a relevant field such as Informatics, Computer Science, or Technical Business Administration.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with implementation and management of APM or observability tools like AppDynamics, New Relic, or Prometheus and Grafana.
• Affinity with Dynatrace and a strong motivation to specialize further in it.
• Knowledge of observability concepts such as metrics, traces, and logs, and Application Performance Management.
• Experience with modern architectures like microservices, and technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and serverless.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code, e.g., Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, understandable advice for both engineers and stakeholders.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
