Lead Node.js Developer - Digital Storytelling

Responsibilities

• Lead a dedicated team of talented developers, mentoring junior and medior developers.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and performant API services using Node.js.
• Implement new features and functionalities in close collaboration with the product team.
• Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Participate in architectural decisions and technical roadmap planning.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Node.js Developer.
• Proven experience in leading a development team.
• Extensive experience with TypeScript, NestJS, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Experience with large-scale, high-traffic applications.
• Strong knowledge of architectural patterns and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
