Lead NodeJS Developer

Introduction

Are you a seasoned Lead NodeJS Developer looking to make a significant impact in the healthcare sector and contribute to societal improvement? Our client, a fast-growing scale-up, offers a platform to enhance healthcare efficiency and quality through patient and doctor-developed applications. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of healthcare, driving technical architecture, leading a team, and actively contributing to development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 8 developers, acting as the liaison between management and the team.
• Define and oversee the technical architecture of the platform.
• Provide hands-on development for the back-end using NodeJS and TypeScript.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code standards.
• Contribute to the ongoing refactoring towards a microservices architecture.
• Continuously improve code quality and the overall platform.
• Manage stakeholders and drive team success.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with NodeJS and TypeScript.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

• Salary: €5,000 - €7,000 per month (depending on knowledge and experience).
