Responsibilities

As the first dedicated Golang developer, you will join an energetic and innovative team of 5 developers (Fullstack, Front-end, and Back-end). You will be at the heart of the organization, developing applications for a wide range of companies, banks, and municipalities. Together with the team and leveraging your leadership skills, you will set up, design, and develop new functionalities. The focus is on building a robust and scalable architecture.

This is a back-end role where you will build the Greenlabel platform and a scalable microservice architecture using Golang. The database used is PostgreSQL. For the front-end, they work with Vue.js and TypeScript. The entire codebase runs in Docker, and they are in the process of migrating to Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Completed HBO or WO education (Bachelor's or Master's degree) in a relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a back-end developer
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Golang (or willingness to learn)
• Experience building REST APIs
• Experience with microservice architectures
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
