Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of talented game developers.
• Design, develop, and implement game features using Unity and C#.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and product managers to define the game vision and requirements.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability across projects.
• Drive technical innovation and explore new technologies within the Web3 gaming space.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues.
• Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap of the company.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in game development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficient in Unity and C#.
• Strong understanding of game architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with blockchain technology and Web3 gaming.
• Experience with smart contracts and decentralized applications.
• Knowledge of various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Polygon).
• Familiarity with game economics and tokenomics.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
