They are creating a product that integrates Web2 and Web3 to build easily accessible experiences, opening endless opportunities for brands and consumers to interact and co-create. Their founding team consists of successful entrepreneurs from multiple tech companies now focused on building the next big thing.

They are looking for a Lead Frontend Engineer to take ownership of the entire frontend architecture and build out their team, working closely with the CTO. The vision is to create a delightful, intuitive experience that abstracts away the technical complexities of the underlying blockchain technology.

Responsibilities

Developing highly interactive and performant web applications using React and TypeScript.
Designing and implementing scalable and maintainable frontend architecture.
Leading and mentoring a team of frontend engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and deliver new features.
Driving best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.
Staying up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and Web3 trends.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer, with a strong focus on React and TypeScript.
Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team.
Deep understanding of modern frontend development practices, including state management, build tools, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with UI/UX principles and ability to translate designs into pixel-perfect implementations.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

Experience with blockchain technologies and Web3 development (e.g., Ethereum, NFTs, dApps) is a huge plus.
