Introduction

Are you an experienced Front-End Developer with a passion for leading teams and delivering high-quality web applications? This is your chance to define the technical direction at one of the most innovative digital agencies in the Netherlands!

Responsibilities

As a Lead Front-End Developer, you will be the technical linchpin of the team. You will coach and mentor other Front-End Developers, ensure code quality, and be responsible for the technical architecture of new projects. You will collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and project managers to create the best digital solutions. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and contribute to complex development challenges. You are always seeking the latest trends and technologies and know how to translate them into concrete solutions. Additionally, you will be the point of contact for clients, advising them on technical possibilities.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Leading and motivating a team of talented Front-End Developers.
• Ensuring the technical quality and standards of all Front-End projects.
• Designing and implementing scalable and performant Front-End architectures.
• Actively contributing to the development of complex web applications.
• Collaborating with other disciplines (UX/UI, back-end, project management).
• Advising clients on technical issues and innovative solutions.
• Continuously innovating and experimenting with new technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Front-End Developer, with at least 2 years in a leading role.
• In-depth knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular (React is a plus).
• Experience with TypeScript and Next.js.
• Strong command of HTML5, CSS3/Sass/Less, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and SEO best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Affinity for design and UX.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
