Responsibilities

• Optimize Operations within the DevOps environment.
• Research improvements and, in consultation with development teams, prioritize and implement them.
• Represent Operations in the analysis and design phase of new features.
• Monitor the application landscape and implement necessary alerts and dashboards.

Requirements

• You have at least HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level.
• You have several years of experience within a DevOps environment and in optimizing Operations.
• You are a person who can bring people together, possesses leadership qualities, and is decisive.
• You are able to quickly release new developments.
• You have experience with Azure or AWS.
• You have a good command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Benefits

• A salary of up to €4,740 gross per month based on a 36-hour work week.
• €1,500 year-end bonus on a full-time basis.
• €250 bonus, paid out in March on a full-time basis.

About Company

The organization is a government institution specializing in the development and execution of standardized tests and assessments at various educational levels. The organization is known for its thorough methodologies and extensive research to ensure that tests are valid and reliable. The IT department consists of approximately 80 FTEs, with 60 FTEs focused on development and 20 FTEs on IT infrastructure.

The organization is divided into five divisions, where you, as a Lead DevOps Engineer, will work across two divisions and operate within one of the three DevOps teams. They are Azure cloud-oriented and are at the forefront in the Netherlands when it comes to Azure. Within the DevOps environment, you will provide guidance within one of the DevOps teams, focusing primarily on Operations and continuously optimizing it. Experience within a software development environment is desirable for this role.
