About the role: We’re hiring a Solana-focused backend engineer with proven experience building performant backends & infra for high-growth Solana products.

As our lead backend engineer, you will work directly alongside the CTO to help ensure that our infrastructure & backend is being built to support demanding requirements for performance, security, and scalability.

Because we are an AI company building onchain products, the ideal candidate has a strong general interest in DeFi, and uses LLMs such as GPT, Cursor, Co-pilot, or similar in their daily engineering work flow.

Requirements: 4+ years of backend development experience, with strong expertise in Rust and/or Golang. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Solana-based projects, including working with RPC nodes, Solana programs, and SDKs. Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable backend systems using microservices architectures and event-driven systems. Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases. Experience deploying and managing systems in AWS or other cloud environments, with knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform). Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain backend services that integrate seamlessly with the Solana blockchain, including RPC interactions, program deployment, and on-chain data management. Develop and document high-quality APIs for internal teams and external partners. Optimize system performance and scalability for Solana-integrated applications. Collaborate with the team to design and implement innovative blockchain-enabled features. Stay informed about advancements in the Solana ecosystem and contribute to strategic product development decisions. Manage infrastructure deployments and production systems in cloud environments.
