Introduction

Are you ready to become a true code killer? You've come to the right place. For our client in Mijdrecht (approximately 20 minutes from Utrecht and Amsterdam), we are looking for a Backend Developer to strengthen their team. You will work on challenging projects and have the opportunity to develop into a true PHP specialist.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining complex backend systems.
• Designing and implementing APIs for various applications.
• Optimizing databases and queries for maximum performance.
• Contributing ideas and implementing new functionalities.
• Collaborating with frontend developers and other team members to find the best solutions.
• Writing clear documentation and tests for developed software.

Requirements

• HBO (higher vocational education) work and thinking level.
• Experience with PHP and at least one PHP framework (preferably Laravel).
• Knowledge of databases (MySQL).
• Experience with version control (Git).
• Proactive, eager to learn, and a team player.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
