Junior .NET Developer - Greenfield Healthcare Platform

Introduction

Are you at the start of your IT career and eager to make a social impact? Do you want to utilize the latest Microsoft technologies to maximally support healthcare? This company has been a pioneer in healthcare technology for over 40 years and is now completely rebuilding its platform. Located in De Rijp, they offer a hybrid work model, with the office open 2-3 days a week.

Responsibilities

As a Junior .NET Developer, you will join an 8-person team, assisting mid-level developers. For the first 6 months, you will receive intensive guidance from a senior developer to familiarize yourself with the technologies. Afterward, you will be expected to work independently and take responsibility for your development tasks.

You will work on a greenfield project to build a new and revolutionary healthcare platform. This involves using the latest technologies: .NET 7, Azure, Kubernetes, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, CI/CD, React, and GraphQL.

Your primary focus will be on backend development, utilizing C# and the newest cloud services. You will collaborate with your team to realize the platform and ensure the highest code quality. The team works according to Scrum principles, with daily standups and bi-weekly sprints. Your team is fully responsible for product features and releases. In the future, more AI will be integrated into the platform.

Requirements

• Completed HBO/WO degree (Bachelor's/Master's) in IT.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Preferably some experience with .NET.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
