Introduction

Are you a communicative, enthusiastic, and driven individual with a passion for Java and an interest in Android development? Our client in Barneveld is looking for you! As a Junior Java Developer, you will contribute to the development of software solutions for Android-based operating systems, building advanced systems used, among other things, for robot control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications for Android, including both front-end (UI/UX) and back-end components.
• Collaborate with the team to create and implement technical designs.
• Test and debug software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Requirements

• HBO or WO (higher professional education or university) work and thinking level in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• Strong affinity with Java and a willingness to delve deeper into Android development.
• Communicative and a team player.
• Proactive and eager to learn.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
