For our partner Novulo, a leading IT company specializing in innovative software solutions, we are seeking a Java Developer to join their team in Breda. Responsibilities

As a Java Developer at Novulo, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining their advanced Low-Code platform and associated business applications. You will work on complex and challenging projects, utilizing the latest technologies and frameworks. Your responsibilities include:

• Developing new functionalities and modules for the Low-Code platform using Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.
• Implementing generative AI solutions to enhance software efficiency and intelligence.
• Working on the backend infrastructure, including databases (SQL, NoSQL), APIs, and microservices.
• Participating in the entire software development process, from concept and design to implementation and deployment.
• Collaborating with a team of talented developers, product owners, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Actively contributing to code reviews, architectural discussions, and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Proactively identifying and resolving technical challenges and bottlenecks.

Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Java Developer with a passion for innovation and technology. You are a team player who enjoys collaboration and is open to new ideas. Additionally, you possess the following qualifications:

• HBO/WO (Bachelor's/Master's) level of education and thinking in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Java Developer (Medior/Senior).
• Extensive knowledge of Java (version 17 or higher) and Spring Boot.
• Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL), APIs, and microservices.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Good command of both Dutch and English, written and verbal.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Generative AI.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (such as React or Angular).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
