IT Service Manager

Introduction

Are you an experienced IT Service Manager who thrives on improving service delivery and managing vendors? In this role, you will play a key part in professionalizing IT services within an organization undergoing significant digital transformation. You will operate at the intersection of business and IT, directly contributing to improved performance and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into concrete SLAs and OLAs with vendors.
• Monitor and adjust IT service delivery and vendor performance.
• Analyze and discuss service level reports with stakeholders.
• Coordinate and handle escalations within operational processes.
• Report on performance, trends, and improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with contract management and procurement for optimal vendor steering.
• Continuously improve service processes according to ITIL principles.

Requirements

• HBO degree in IT, Business IT & Management, or comparable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Service Manager or in a similar role.
• Demonstrable experience with ITIL and service management processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with vendor management and SLA steering.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience in a complex or corporate organization.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern IT environments.
