Introduction

Our client, a leading name in Dutch financial services and a prominent player in the insurance sector, is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager. Focused on innovation, excellent customer experience, and digital transformation, they need a dedicated professional to strengthen their IT team. This is a permanent position directly with the client.

Responsibilities

As an IT Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind complex IT projects within the insurance sector. Your key responsibilities include:

• Managing IT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring successful implementation of new systems and functionalities.
• Leading and motivating multidisciplinary project teams.
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from operational to strategic.
• Ensuring the quality and timely delivery of project deliverables.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements within the project methodology.

Requirements

We are looking for a driven and experienced IT Project Manager with a proven track record in the insurance industry. You are a strong communicator, results-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively. You recognize yourself in the following profile:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably within the insurance or financial sector.
• Demonstrable experience with various project methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Prince2, ITIL).
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Business Administration).
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
