Introduction

OOWEE is seeking an enthusiastic iOS Engineer with a strong background in Swift and SwiftUI to join our team. This contract position offers full remote flexibility, allowing you to contribute from anywhere in the world. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our fitness application, with a particular focus on integrating features like StoreKit and WatchOS. We thrive on a 'vibe-coding', async-first, and 'no-bs' engineering culture, empowering our team to deliver high-quality products efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the OOWEE iOS fitness application using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Implement and manage StoreKit functionalities for in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• Design and integrate features for WatchOS to enhance the user experience across Apple devices.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into functional application features.
• Participate actively in an async-first development environment, contributing to clear communication and documentation.
• Adhere to and promote a 'vibe-coding' ethos, embracing AI-assisted development tools and focusing on impactful work.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in iOS development using Swift.
• Strong proficiency with SwiftUI for building user interfaces.
• Experience with StoreKit for managing in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• Familiarity with WatchOS development and integration.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote and asynchronous team setting.
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other Apple frameworks and services.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for mobile applications.
• Previous experience in fitness or health-related app development.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) and a 'vibe-coding' approach.
