Introduction

Are you looking to gain experience in internal communications within an international organization? During this internship, you will help keep over 1,500 colleagues in the Netherlands informed, engaged, and connected. You will contribute to content creation, employee engagement, and the further development of our internal communication channels.

As an Internal Communications Intern, you will be part of our marketing and communications team. You will be a full member of the team and will have the opportunity to take responsibility for your own projects and ideas.

Together with the Internal Communications Advisor, you will ensure that colleagues stay informed about important developments, feel connected to the organization, and are actively involved in what's happening within Sopra Steria.

Responsibilities

• Creating, writing, and publishing content for our internal communication channels, such as the intranet, newsletters, and internal campaigns.
• Analyzing user data and statistics to measure communication effectiveness and implement improvements.
• Supporting communication around internal events and employee engagement initiatives.
• Contributing to our ambassador program by activating, supporting, and providing ambassadors with appropriate communication.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing ideas for the further development of our internal communication channels.

Requirements

• You are pursuing a higher professional education (hbo) or university (wo) degree in Communication, Marketing, Event Management, or a similar field.
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English languages.
• Creative with both language and visuals.
• Accurate, organized, and structured in your work.
• Proactive and eager to contribute ideas for improvement.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Available for a minimum of four months, working 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
