Introduction

AppyThings, an IT consultancy in Amsterdam specializing in API Management, Event Streaming, and Cloud Integration, is seeking an Integration Engineer. We are looking for a specialist who understands how to intelligently connect systems using a modern API management platform. This role focuses on the integration layer, not backend development. Responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust and scalable integration solutions using modern API management platforms.
• Work with clients across various sectors to modernize and streamline their IT infrastructure.
• Focus on the integration layer, ensuring seamless communication between diverse systems.
• Contribute to discussions and decisions regarding API scalability, security, and manageability.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in API management, event streaming, and cloud integration.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Integration Specialist or similar role.
• Strong understanding of API Management principles and platforms.
• Experience with Event Streaming technologies.
• Proficiency in Cloud Integration, with expertise in either GCP or Azure.
• Ability to design and implement robust, secure, and scalable integration solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
