Introduction

NVIDIA's Networking division, a leading supplier of innovative end-to-end InfiniBand and Ethernet connectivity solutions, is seeking a High-Speed Optical Transceiver Design Engineer. This role offers a unique opportunity to design and deliver next-generation products for high-speed optical communication, focusing on optimized power-performance solutions for AI, ML, Cloud, Media, and Entertainment industries.

Responsibilities

• Detailed design of electrical schematics for products, including board design and component selection.
• Lead multi-disciplinary product design, collaborating with thermo-mechanical, signal/power integrity, software, and optics teams.
• Hands-on laboratory work to evaluate, refine, and improve product performance.
• Work with various internal and external operational groups (qualification, suppliers, manufacturers) to scale products from lab to mass production.
• Continuously learn and implement new technologies to improve future product generations.

Requirements

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a leading university or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Desire to work on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Engineering approach with an understanding of physical trade-offs.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced project development environment.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of electro-optic communication, high-speed signals, or analog circuits.
• Hands-on experience with electrical lab work.
• Previous experience in hardware/system fields.
