    About the Position

    Introduction

    Mino Games is seeking a Head of Operations to join their team. This role involves working directly with the executive team to drive strategy, oversee procedures, and ensure operational efficiency as the company focuses on the intersection of gaming, blockchain, and AI.

    Responsibilities

    • Business Process Optimization:
      • Identify Areas of Responsibility (AOR) across teams and assign Directly Responsible Individuals (DRI) and Backups.
      • Identify and remove inefficiencies.
      • Design and implement protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and policies aligned with company culture and vision.
    • Manage New Tech Acquisition and Vendor Relationships:
      • Identify organizational needs for new tools.
      • Set up, organize, and manage platforms and tools across departments.
      • Monitor tool usage and adherence to SOPs.
    • Reporting:
      • Create clear reporting structures for teams.
      • Manage structured reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and progress to executives.
      • Work closely with the executive team to drive priorities and execute against quarterly/annual roadmaps.
    • Strategy, Change Management, and Internal Communications:
      • Run strategic sessions and workshops to build buy-in and alignment with stakeholders.
      • Incorporate industry best practices.
      • Create change strategies with the CEO & VP of Operations.
      • Roll out changes and communicate effectively to all stakeholders.
      • Manage projects.
      • Measure and monitor the success of rollouts.
      • Prepare decks and presentations for internal communications, executives, and the board.
      • Facilitate strategic sessions and workshops with executives.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of professional experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Operations Management or a related field.
    • Experience working in a scaling remote startup in an operations role.
    • Skills & Attributes:
      • Process & Documentation Wizard: Naturally proficient in writing SOPs and other documentation.
      • Fanatically Detail-Oriented: Ensures no organizational detail is missed, maintaining high standards across company activities.
      • Relentlessly Resourceful: Achieves significant results quickly, even with challenging tasks.
      • Extremely Organized: Builds simple processes that lead to smooth team operations.
      • Highly Analytical: Data-driven, proficient in Excel, and uses models, forecasts, and analysis to inform decision-making.
      • Effective Communicator: Delivers the right information to the right people at the right time.
