Introduction

Kosen Labs, a team of ex-Google DeepMind AI researchers and engineers, is seeking an ambitious Head of Blockchain Engineering. This fully remote position involves leading the growth and development of the Blockchain Engineering team, architecting secure smart contract protocols and backend services, and mentoring junior team members within the DeFi space.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for all blockchain-related questions within the company.
• Architect system designs and create lower-level specifications for junior team members.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of critical system components.
• Perform security audits of code written by other team members.
• Mentor junior team members in blockchain and engineering best practices.
• Assist in building out a world-class blockchain team, potentially including hiring new members.

Requirements

• General knowledge of blockchain technology.
• Proven 5+ years of experience in software or hardware engineering.
• At least 2-3 years of Solidity development experience.
• Good knowledge of Solidity development frameworks such as Truffle, Ganache, Tenderly, and Hardhat.
• Understanding of server-side programming using Geth.
• Experience with OpenZeppelin libraries.
• Experience using Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
• Basic financial knowledge.
• Strong numerical skills and knowledge of safe math.
• Strong sense of security.
• Solid knowledge of blockchain exploits.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Solidity security testing tools like Slither and Mythril.
• Experience with DeFi protocols.
• Quant finance background.
• Basic understanding of machine learning technology.
