Responsibilities

• Drive the vision and strategy for API integrations.
• Lead and mentor a team of integration specialists.
• Design and implement scalable and secure API solutions.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and partner teams to define integration requirements.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of API development, from conception to deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of all integrations.
• Stay updated with the latest API trends and technologies.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for API development.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a leadership role within API development or integrations.
• Strong technical background in API design, development, and management.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and their integration ecosystems.
• Excellent understanding of various API protocols (REST, GraphQL, etc.) and authentication methods.
• Ability to manage and grow a technical team.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.
• Experience working in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
