Introduction

As Head of Administration & Control, you will be responsible for the financial foundation of the organization. You will not only manage the figures but also translate them into concrete insights for the board and management. This role combines hands-on execution with strategic thinking.

Your role is central to financial administration and control. You will lead the administrative team, ensure the quality of financial processes and reports, and provide the board with proactive analyses and advice. An integrated approach, acting both operationally and tactically, is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and accurate financial administration.
• Prepare analyses and reports for the board and management.
• Guide and coach the administrative team.
• Optimize financial processes and systems.
• Collaborate on budget preparation and monitor their realization.
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity position.
• Optimize (project) administration for adequate project control.

Requirements

• HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level, preferably in a financial direction.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably within a project-driven organization.
• Excellent knowledge of financial systems and processes.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.
• Good communication skills and a coaching leadership style.
• Experience with software like Exact Globe and Excel is a must. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
