Introduction

Kraken is seeking a highly accomplished and commercially astute General Manager to own and scale Kraken Embed and Kraken Ramp, critical services designed to expand crypto adoption through strategic partnerships. This senior, high-impact role demands an entrepreneurial mindset, driving end-to-end accountability for business outcomes within Kraken's innovative shared platform model. You will lead revenue growth, foster partner relationships, and leverage Kraken’s robust infrastructure across exchange, payments, blockchain, compliance, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall success of Kraken Embed and Kraken Ramp, encompassing strategy, adoption, revenue growth, and partner outcomes.
• Act as the General Manager and business owner, responsible for results beyond roadmap delivery.
• Define and evolve the product strategy and roadmap in close collaboration with product and engineering managers, payments, and blockchain platform teams.
• Drive go-to-market execution, including pricing, packaging, partner segmentation, and distribution strategy.
• Collaborate extensively with Sales leadership and frontline sellers to support pipeline development, deal execution, and strategic account growth.
• Represent Kraken externally with partners and prospective clients through sales calls, executive meetings, and industry events.
• Build and scale relationships across banks, neobanks, fintechs, and embedded finance platforms, leveraging existing networks.
• Lead and develop a growing team across product and engineering.
• Align closely with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Operations to navigate regulatory and operational constraints across global markets.
• Represent Kraken Embed and Ramp internally, securing resources, aligning priorities, and unblocking cross-functional dependencies.
• Define and track success metrics across adoption, volume, revenue, and partner success.

Requirements

• Proven senior leadership experience in owning and growing a B2B or B2B2C product or services business, ideally within SaaS, fintech, payments, or embedded finance sectors.
• Strong commercial instincts with demonstrated experience in building sales pipelines, supporting deals, and scaling revenue through partnerships.
• Experience working closely with product and engineering teams, possessing sufficient technical fluency to guide trade-offs.
• Ability to lead through influence, align executives, and drive execution across complex dependencies.
• An externally credible leader who thrives on engaging with clients, partners, and the broader ecosystem.
• A skilled people leader capable of thoughtfully scaling teams as the business grows.
