Functional Application Manager

Introduction

Do you want to play a key role in optimizing project applications within complex infrastructural projects? In this position, you will work at the intersection of processes, data, and systems, with a strong focus on Systems Engineering and requirements management. You will directly contribute to a future-proof application landscape.

Responsibilities

• Handle 2nd-line incidents and provide structural problem resolution.
• Prepare, test, and guide changes, updates, and releases.
• Set up and manage application structures, requirements, and relationships within Systems Engineering tooling.
• Support and train key-users and project teams.
• Identify and implement process and system improvements.
• Support the implementation and use of additional tools and applications.
• Actively communicate about changes, incidents, and maintenance.

Requirements

• HBO diploma (in IT, Technical Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or similar).
• Experience with application management or functional management.
• Experience with Relatics or similar Systems Engineering tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL and Agile/Scrum.
• Strong analytical skills and process insight.
• Good communication skills.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Preferred:

• Experience within project organizations (infrastructure/construction).
• Affinity with Systems Engineering and requirements management.
