Functional Application Manager

Introduction

Are you an experienced Functional Application Manager who enjoys working in a technically complex environment? Do you like optimizing business-critical applications, guiding changes, and supporting users? Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and optimize business-critical applications.
• Perform acceptance tests and validate new functionalities.
• Implement, test, and document changes and configurations.
• Identify and realize improvements in processes, functionalities, and data quality.
• Support end-users and provide training and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team on the further development of the application landscape.
• Support implementations, releases, and change processes.
• Monitor the availability, performance, and reliability of the application environment.

Requirements

• Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably in a technical, IT, or business-related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in functional application management or a similar role.
• Experience with application management, configuration management, testing, and change management.
• Affinity with complex IT landscapes and business processes.
• Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented attitude.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in both Dutch and English.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
• Knowledge of system integrations and data exchange.

Benefits

• A gross monthly salary of up to €7,000 based on 40 hours.
• 30+ vacation days on a full-time basis.
