We are currently looking for a Medior Backend Python Developer to join our team and accelerate the further development of our platform.

Responsibilities

As a Backend Python Developer, you will be crucial to:

Developing and optimizing the backend architecture of our platform, working closely with the frontend team to ensure seamless integration.
Designing, building, and maintaining APIs and services that support our data processing and analysis capabilities.
Ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our systems.
Implementing data models and database solutions to efficiently store and retrieve complex medical and physiological data.
Collaborating with data scientists and other developers to translate complex requirements into robust and efficient software solutions.
Participating in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to maintain high code quality and system performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Backend Python Developer, preferably with 3-5 years of experience.
Strong knowledge of Python and experience with relevant frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django).
Experience with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and a passion for solving complex technical challenges.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

Experience in the healthcare domain or with medical data.
Familiarity with data science tools and libraries.
Knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
