About the Position

Introduction

MoonPay is seeking an experienced Fullstack Engineer to join our Monetization team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in architecting and developing new and existing products and features focused on monetization, using cutting-edge technologies within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a platform that is driving mainstream crypto adoption worldwide.

Responsibilities

Architect and develop new and existing products and features related to monetization.
Collaborate with the Head of Monetization, data scientists, and other engineers to implement new experimentation and algorithmic pricing features across RAMPs, DeFi Trading, and Swaps.
Work closely with other product teams to deliver and improve customer-facing features.
Contribute to the estimations, planning, and execution of projects, features, and integrations.
Integrate and work closely with external service providers that power our services.
Maintain and improve our existing codebase.
Write fully tested, high-quality, and performant code.

Requirements

Extensive full-stack engineering experience at leading startups or fast-growing tech companies, ideally from marketplace or platform-type businesses where algorithmic pricing and A/B testing were heavily used.
Experience working on projects involving pricing, promotions, rewards, and/or loyalty programs with both backend and frontend technologies.
Experience building experimentation platforms and infrastructure for algorithmic pricing solutions, with knowledge of leveraging continuous delivery.
Confidence in developing, releasing, and maintaining server applications in a fast-paced, iterative, team-oriented environment.
Proficiency with our tech stack (TypeScript, Node.js, React, GCP) or a proven ability to cross-train and up-skill quickly.
Deep understanding of database structures and system design.
Cloud-native experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Nice to Have

Working experience with React Native.
Experience with GenAI tools such as Cursor.
Open-source contributions or experience in Web3.
