Introduction

Are you ready to work on a digital platform used daily by thousands of professionals while being technically challenged? In this role, you will build user-friendly, high-traffic webshops and customer portals. This is not a standard content site, but a technical Drupal project with extensive custom development, Symfony logic, and Vue components. You will work in a hybrid model, contribute to UX and technical decisions, and see the direct impact of your work within an enthusiastic and technically strong team.

Responsibilities

As a Fullstack Developer, you will play a crucial role in the further development of a leading digital platform. You will have a significant impact on a platform that generates over 100 million pageviews monthly and is essential for thousands of professionals. Your expertise will be applied to both the frontend, primarily using Vue.js, and the backend, focusing on Symfony and Drupal (mainly Drupal 9/10). You will be part of an experienced team of developers who are eager to share knowledge and are driven by innovation. Together, you will ensure the platform is not only performant and scalable but also offers an intuitive user experience. You will be involved in the entire development process, from concept to deployment, and will have the freedom to contribute your ideas and expertise. There is an extensive roadmap of features, improvements, and technical challenges to tackle in the coming years.

Requirements

• HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level, preferably a degree in Computer Science.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a developer.
• Demonstrable experience in PHP, Symfony/Laravel, and MySQL.
• Experience with Vue.js and Drupal 9/10 is a plus, but not a must.
• Strong communication skills and a true team player.
• Must reside in the Rotterdam area.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Elasticsearch and Redis.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and Vagrant.
• Knowledge of AWS, Sentry, and Blackfire.
