Rain is building the fastest and easiest pathways for Web3 teams to spend crypto in the real world. We are a small, passionate team of builders and veteran founders looking for a founding software engineer to join us. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact at a rapidly growing company, backed by top investors in fintech and crypto. We value an open structure where team members can grow into roles that align with their goals and influence the product roadmap.

Many of our engineers are based in NYC, but we are open to fully remote candidates.

Responsibilities

Be a critical part of the technical and product roadmap.
Build products across our stack (using React, Typescript, NextJS, Tailwind, NodeJS).
Help drive technical roadmap and architectural decisions as the company grows.
Interact with smart contracts across multiple crypto ecosystems.

Requirements

Experience with Javascript, React, Typescript, NextJS, Tailwind, NodeJS (a subset of these works too).
A builder mentality, demonstrated by experimenting with side projects.
DeFi curious and looking to gain more exposure to Rust and Solidity smart contracts.

Nice to Have

Fintech experience (neobank or card issuing experience gets extra brownie points).
Experience with Dapp contracts.
Experience contributing to DAOs.
