Full-Stack Engineer

Introduction

Somnia is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to contribute to the development of their hyper-performance Layer 1 blockchain, the Agentic Chain. This role involves building across consumer-facing products, developer technologies, and internal tooling, with a strong emphasis on product ownership and full-lifecycle development.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade products end-to-end (back-end through UI) for consumer applications, developer technologies, and internal platform tooling.
• Develop high-performance back-ends and services.
• Create developer technologies such as SDKs, APIs, CLIs, libraries, and starter kits to facilitate platform usage.
• Build internal tooling and platform infrastructure to enhance team velocity.
• Work self-directed to identify needs and propose solutions that advance the project.
• Collaborate with DevRel, Marketing, and Business Development to ensure successful product launches and market fit.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript across the full stack. Some experience with Golang is a plus.
• Ability to build high-quality, production-ready front-ends.
• Strong back-end engineering skills, including APIs, services, and data layers.
• Genuine interest in crypto and on-chain products.
• Strong ownership and self-direction, with the ability to generate and execute ideas.
• Adaptability to prototype rapidly and then harden features with tests, edge cases, and reliability considerations.

Nice to Have

• Web3 / on-chain experience, including smart contracts (Solidity/EVM), wallets, or dApp development.
• Experience building developer technologies (SDKs, APIs, CLIs, libraries) and associated documentation/starter kits.
• Strong design skills for polished product UIs.
• A good understanding of the competitive landscape and what makes Web3 products successful.
