Frontend Engineer - Search & Computer Vision

Responsibilities

• Build the frontend for the visual search experience.
• Enable the web UI to process computer vision data.
• Lead projects from design to implementation.
• Optimize encoding and decoding functionality for 4K video.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver products to customers on time.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Internship experience developing and launching products.
• Experience building reusable components, utilizing CSS pre-processors, and creating pixel-perfect user interfaces.
• Comfortable working in an agile team software development environment.
• Proficient understanding of JavaScript, including contexts, prototypes/classes, and closures.
• Experience with a modern web framework such as Angular.js, React, or Vue.
• Familiarity with REST APIs; ability to read Python server code is a plus.
• Comfortable with SQL, Distributed Systems, Operating Systems, AWS, Docker.
• Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week.
