About the Position
Introduction
We are seeking a talented Freelance React.js Developer to assist with a critical database migration project. Our existing web application, built with React.js and Firebase, needs to transition its backend from Firebase Realtime Database to PostgreSQL. The PostgreSQL database schema is already prepared.
Responsibilities
- Migrate existing data and integrate the React.js frontend with the new PostgreSQL database.
- Ensure seamless functionality and performance post-migration.
- Collaborate effectively within a fast-paced development environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience with React.js frontend development.
- Strong understanding of database migration processes, specifically from NoSQL (Firebase) to SQL (PostgreSQL).
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL.
- Ability to work efficiently under a tight deadline (2 days).
- Access to and familiarity with Git for version control.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Firebase Realtime Database.
- Familiarity with Vercel deployment.
