About the Position
Introduction
As a Founding Engineer at Wordware, you will be instrumental in setting the pace for a team focused on rapid shipping and high product taste. This role is for an engineer who prioritizes building features over architectural debates, tasked with identifying essential needs, simplifying complexity, and delivering production-ready AI tools within days. You'll join a 15-person San Francisco-based team with a "vibe doing" mentality, leveraging AI tools to accelerate output and gain a competitive advantage.
Responsibilities
- Develop autonomous agent workflows and memory systems.
- Refine user flows to reduce friction and address stuck conversations.
- Collaborate directly in the codebase to unblock the team through execution rather than extensive documentation.
Requirements
The role requires an engineer with high product taste and a preference for building. The company uses a high-velocity, modern stack compatible with AI-assisted development.
Nice to Have
