Phonely is seeking a Founding Engineer, a unique hybrid who can own the entire product cycle from design to implementation. This role encourages leveraging natural language prompting and AI-assisted tools to transform user research into functional React components.

Responsibilities

As a founding member:

• You will leverage natural language prompting and AI-assisted tools to transform complex user research into functional React components.
• You will ship polished SaaS dashboards and voice agent controls at startup speed by utilizing AI development assistants.
• You will focus on product strategy and high-fidelity interaction design, with AI handling the heavy lifting of front-end implementation.
• You will have a direct influence over the platform's visual identity and technical direction alongside the leadership.
• You will define the user experience for the next generation of conversational AI.

Requirements

• Ability to move fluidly between Figma and Next.js.
• Experience with AI development assistants.
• Product-minded with a strong understanding of design principles.

Nice to Have

• Passion for developing intuitive interfaces for voice AI.
