Founding AI Engineer

Tyle is a pre-seed health-tech startup backed by a16z and elite ex-Google/Meta leaders. They are building the visual biomarker layer for human health, using proprietary imaging hardware and multimodal AI to transform the body's surface into a longitudinal record of health intelligence for detecting chronic conditions and early signs of disease.

Introduction

This role is for a Founding AI Engineer at Tyle, a pre-seed health-tech startup. You will be instrumental in architecting and scaling their core computer vision system, contributing to a new category of preventative health infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve the complete computer vision stack, optimizing the journey from raw sensor data to production-ready biological insights.
• Translate emerging research and state-of-the-art multimodal techniques into reliable, high-performance models capable of operating in real-world clinical conditions.
• Build the foundational data infrastructure and training loops required to scale longitudinal health intelligence and continuously improve model performance.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in training and deploying computer vision or multimodal AI models that have been proven in production environments.
• Rapid ability to move from research papers to functional prototypes, balancing scientific rigor with the speed of a stealth-stage startup.
• Thrive in a hands-on, generalist role, comfortably navigating between model development, hardware integration, and high-level technical strategy.
