At Team Rockstars IT, we are looking for a Financial Controller to strengthen our team. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for financial administration and reporting. You will ensure that our financial processes run smoothly and that we always have up-to-date and reliable insight into our financial situation. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our financial processes and advising management at a strategic level. A great challenge in a growing organization with a super team!

Responsibilities

As a Financial Controller at Team Rockstars IT, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Financial administration: You will manage the complete financial administration, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger administration, and bank entries.
• Reporting: You will prepare periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual reports) and analyze the results.
• Budgeting and forecasting: You will support the preparation of budgets and forecasts and monitor their realization.
• Process optimization: You will identify bottlenecks in financial processes and propose improvements.
• Compliance: You will ensure that we comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Controls: You will perform internal controls and prepare for external audits.
• Advice: You will proactively advise management on financial issues and potential risks.

Requirements

We are looking for a driven and accurate Financial Controller with the following qualifications:

• A completed HBO or WO degree in a financial field (e.g., Accountancy, Business Economics).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably in a dynamic, growing organization.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent command of Excel and financial software packages (experience with Exact is a plus).
• Accurate, strong communicator, and a team player.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
