Introduction

As a Finance Officer at Team Rockstars IT, you will be a crucial part of a dynamic team, serving as the financial and administrative conscience of our organization. You will play a vital role in optimizing our financial processes and contributing to the strategic growth of the company. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure flawless financial administration. We are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial finance professional who knows how to make business processes even more efficient.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate figures and insights for data-driven decision-making.
• Act as a key sparring partner for regional directors and finance colleagues.
• Create analyses, overviews, and reports, providing advice based on financial data.
• Independently manage your own portfolio of private limited companies (BV's).
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, intercompany reconciliations, and VAT returns.
• Prepare management reports, quarterly closings, and annual accounts.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring KPIs.
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.

Requirements

• HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level, preferably in a financial direction.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrable experience in preparing management reports, quarterly closings, and annual accounts.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and financial software packages (preferably AFAS).
• Proactive, analytically strong, communicative, and a true team player.
• Critical mindset, solution-oriented, structured, and accurate in your work.
• Residing in the Utrecht region and possessing a car.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
