About the Position

Introduction

Binance, the world's leading blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency exchange, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager for a 12-month contract. This role is crucial for ensuring the financial health and regulatory compliance of our operations, particularly within the APAC region. Responsibilities

Lead and manage the complete month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Prepare budgets, assist with financial forecasting, and contribute to strategic planning to support business objectives.
Collaborate regularly with Country General Managers and team leads, coordinating initiatives and providing insightful financial analysis.
Manage and coordinate statutory audits, working closely with external auditors.
Ensure timely submission of all tax filings and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the finance function, including the adoption of AI tools.
Stay informed of changes in financial regulations and proactively adapt financial practices accordingly.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (CPA or equivalent certification is a significant advantage).
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in accounting or finance, with demonstrated expertise in month-end close processes, internal controls, and financial reporting.
Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and other relevant accounting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Exceptional analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
Proactive, hands-on approach, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering cross-departmental collaboration.
Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
