Introduction

In an increasingly complex digital world, organizations must protect their systems and data from sophisticated cyberattacks. As an Ethical Hacker in our Red Team, you'll join a group of highly skilled and passionate colleagues to simulate real attackers, exposing vulnerabilities across technology, processes, and human behavior. Your mission is to ensure systems are resilient and secure against potential threats.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of expert Ethical Hackers and Red Team specialists.
• Simulate advanced cyberattacks to identify vulnerabilities in systems, applications, and entire environments.
• Analyze how technology, processes, and human behavior interact to create security weaknesses.
• Develop and adapt custom tooling for testing in languages like Python and Go.
• Conduct tests on diverse environments including mobile apps, web applications, cloud infrastructure, and ideally OT/SCADA systems.
• Clearly communicate technical findings and their implications to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Continuously learn, test, and challenge yourself to stay at the forefront of the cybersecurity field.
• Actively seek collaboration within the team to enhance collective knowledge and skills.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in red teaming or high-end penetration testing.
• Certifications such as OSCP, GPEN, or equivalent level. OSEP or eWPTX certifications are a plus.
• Strong technical foundation; ability to write or adapt tooling in Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Experience with diverse environments including web applications, mobile (iOS and Android), cloud, and preferably OT or SCADA systems.
• Ability to think like an attacker, combining technical knowledge, logic, and creativity to go beyond standard test cases.
• Strong analytical skills to quickly comprehend complex environments.
• Excellent communication skills to convey findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Independent worker who actively seeks collaboration.
• Fits into a direct and challenging team culture where mutual growth is valued.
• Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• CVEs, public research, talks at conferences, or responsible disclosures to your name.
• Active participation in CTFs or bug bounty programs.
• Experience in developing exploits, tooling, or custom attack paths, not just using existing tools.
