About the Position

Introduction

Crypto.com is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Engineer or Senior Engineer specializing in Network & Infrastructure Security. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions, ensuring the digital resilience of our global cryptocurrency platform. This is an opportunity to be an architect of security in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary escalation point for complex issues related to infrastructure operations and security configurations.
Develop, maintain, and continually update documentation for network infrastructure and system security designs.
Stay abreast of emerging security technologies and identify opportunities for enhancing existing infrastructure and security solutions.
Lead the overall design and implementation of diverse security solutions to meet evolving business and security requirements.
Collaborate closely with the DevOps team to bridge the gap between development and operations, embracing "Infrastructure as Code" (IaC) principles.
Provide support during non-office hours when necessary to address critical incidents.

Requirements

Higher education (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related technical discipline.
In-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience with a variety of infrastructure and network products, including Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, Cisco, and Aruba.
Solid conceptual understanding and practical experience with network and system security solutions such as CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker), NAC (Network Access Control), CDN (Content Delivery Network), WAF (Web Application Firewall), Secure Web Gateway, and Secure Email Gateway.
Sound knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud network infrastructure.
Deep understanding of networking protocols, including but not limited to IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, and QoS.
Certification equivalent to CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or higher is required. CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) and/or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certifications are highly valued.
Strong time management skills, a willingness to learn continuously, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
Candidates with less experience will be considered for a junior-level position.

Nice to Have

Experience in the design and implementation of robust and resilient global networks across public cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or private cloud platforms.
