Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of blockchain engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of blockchain products and features, from planning and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, set technical direction, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Drive technical excellence and best practices within the engineering team, including code quality, scalability, security, and performance.
Conduct regular code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for skill development and growth among team members.
Help shape the overall technical strategy and roadmap for blockchain initiatives, staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
Act as a technical expert and thought leader in blockchain, sharing knowledge and insights with both internal and external audiences.
Participate in hiring and onboarding new engineering talent, contributing to the growth and development of the team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience (5+ years) in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
Strong expertise in blockchain technology, including understanding of core concepts, protocols, and platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda).
Experience with smart contract development (Solidity, Rust) and decentralized application (dApp) architectures.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in blockchain development (e.g., Go, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
Solid understanding of cryptographic principles, distributed systems, and consensus mechanisms.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
