Backbase is establishing a new team focused on developing innovative products for their Fintech Platform. They are seeking an inspiring and highly technical Engineering Manager to lead this growing remote team based in their Business Development Centre (BDC) in Hyderabad.

The BDC, opened in December 2020, is one of Backbase’s five global development hubs and a crucial part of their global R&D team, fostering creativity, innovation, and collaboration to build cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing remote engineering team.
• Inspire and motivate your team to deliver high-quality work efficiently.
• Contribute to the product strategy of Backbase's Fintech Platform.
• Coach engineers and guide their professional development.
• Ensure the team continuously learns, experiments, and finds better ways to create software and solve real-world problems.
