E-commerce Application Manager

Introduction

Our client, a growing online player in the health industry, is looking for a skilled E-commerce Application Manager. With a modern platform and over 7500 products, they serve both private and business customers. They distinguish themselves through personal service and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. This is a full-time position with a salary between €3,500 and €4,500 per month, depending on experience, plus a 13th month and travel allowance. Your workplace will be in Enschede, Almelo, or Hengelo, with ample opportunities for remote work and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

As an E-commerce Application Manager, you will be the linchpin between IT and business, responsible for the optimal operation and continuous development of their e-commerce platform and the underlying ERP system. You will work closely with various departments within the company to streamline and improve business processes. You will be the go-to person for technical questions and processes, translating user needs into concrete solutions. A selection of your tasks:

• Continuously develop the e-commerce environment and ERP system, implementing new features and improving existing functionalities.
• Manage and maintain the backend of the e-commerce environment (Magento 2).
• Address software problems and user questions daily, acting quickly and effectively.
• Thoroughly test new functionalities before they go live to ensure flawless operation.
• Implement updates and new modules, integrating them seamlessly with existing systems.
• Build reports and dashboards to gain insights into the performance of the e-commerce environment.
• Optimize existing systems and processes to improve user experience and efficiency.

Requirements

• HBO (higher vocational education) working and thinking level, preferably in Informatics or Business Informatics.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience as an application manager in an e-commerce environment, preferably with Magento 2 and an ERP system.
• Affinity with e-commerce and up-to-date with the latest developments in this field.
• Strong communication skills, proactive, and capable of collaborating effectively with various stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• A driven team player with a hands-on mentality.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
