Discord Community Manager

Introduction

Phat Loot DeFi is a rapidly expanding decentralized finance and gaming startup aiming for significant market share in the Game-Fi, Play-to-Earn sector. We envision ourselves as the central hub and bridge connecting game developers to the blockchain. Our community is vital to our future success. As we expand and launch new projects, we require a highly experienced and passionate community manager to help us cultivate a truly unique environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the Discord server.
• Structure, manage, and grow the community on Discord.
• Ideate and execute high-impact community-related initiatives on Discord.
• Design and implement incentive programs to boost engagement and growth within existing and potential networks.
• Hire, onboard, train, and manage Discord Moderators.
• Maintain high community morale and engagement levels.
• Host training sessions for Moderators and other community managers.
• Collaborate with other internal Phat Loot teams to facilitate community communications.
• Stay abreast of the latest community platform trends, best practices, and technologies.
• Coordinate with the Social Media Team to ensure consistent messaging.
• Communicate with fans, influencers, and other partners/collaborators to expand Phat Loot's network.

Requirements

• Proven track record in creating, growing, managing, and engaging communities via Discord or similar channels.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in community management.
• Experience managing community bots.
• Experience with NFTs.
• Excellent knowledge of email best practices.
• Deep experience with Discord.
• Good understanding of social media KPIs.
• Excellent multitasking skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Team player.
• Fluent in English.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Amazing interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with digital and in-person event planning.
