About the Position

Introduction

Figure is a fintech company transforming the financial services industry using blockchain technology. As a Director of Capital Markets, you will support the growth of Figure Lending and its capital markets strategy, managing and leading various capital markets projects.

Responsibilities

Support the Head of Capital Markets & Institutional Partnerships in executing warehouse and ABS transactions across various asset classes.
Act as project lead for programmatic and recurring ABS transactions, including amendments/RFPs for warehouse strategies.
Monitor competitor pricing and investor demand/alternatives to optimize pricing across FICO and CLTV bands in the origination process.
Build and expand the Provenance ecosystem by engaging with originators, lenders, banks, credit funds, asset managers, insurance companies, and more.
Collaborate cross-functionally to identify how blockchain technology can enhance efficiency and reduce costs in securitization and whole loan sales processes currently performed by third parties.
Work with credit and operations to monitor loan performance, prepare regular investor performance updates, and communicate findings/deliverables to rating agencies and other stakeholders.

Requirements

Experience in mortgage and consumer banking, whole loans, and asset-backed securities.
Background in capital markets, hedging, trading, pricing, securitization, and regulatory compliance.
Deep understanding of various financing products and structures is strongly preferred.
Extensive modeling skills, with proficiency in Intex and Bloomberg in a professional daily setting.
Strong network within the financial sector, particularly with institutional investors and funds specializing in consumer and residential loans.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead respectfully, be organized, and communicate effectively.
Minimum of 5 years of experience at an ABS issuer, investment bank, or buy-side firm.
Thrives on taking projects from inception to completion and is willing to delve into details for creative solutions.
Passionate about leveraging technology to improve financial services and eager to work in a challenging and demanding fintech environment.
