About the Position

Introduction

As a DevOps Tester at AUTO|Q, you are the link between technology and business, making you the spider in the web of the DevOps team. Within the team, you are the one who stands for quality, strives for 'first time right', and encourages, guides, and facilitates your teammates in achieving this. By demonstrating this quality through testing, you bridge the gap to the business and give the customer confidence that the delivered result meets expectations.

Responsibilities

Here are some of the tasks you can expect to perform for our clients:

You are responsible for the planning and execution of test activities in your DevOps HPT team.
You drive quality within the team. You take initiatives to integrate shift-left and shift-right applications into the way of working.
You ensure a quality-oriented mindset within the team.
You are keen on quality during refinements and focus on easily testable backlog items.
You collaborate with developers in executing unit tests.
You develop, maintain, and optimize test scripts, which you then preferably automate.

Requirements

You have a clear vision of your profession, a passion for quality, and the drive to always go the extra mile. You are a team player who strives for collective results and thus looks beyond your own tasks.
Proven work experience in a similar role.
Familiarity with various testing tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, SpecFlow, Selenium, Postman, SoapUI, RobotFramework, Playwright, or Cypress.
Knowledge of, and preferably experience with, topics such as CI/CD, mobile, security, performance, and monitoring.
Coding experience is a plus.
In possession of a TMap and/or ISTQB certificate.
A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
