About the Position

Introduction

Are you someone who ensures IT landscapes run smoothly and enjoys building future-proof solutions? As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in integrating, automating, and optimizing systems. You will work with modern technologies such as AI, ML, and Big Data, and be responsible for an efficient, secure, and future-proof IT landscape. This is not standard administration, but about making a real impact on digital processes and realizing innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

Ensure a stable and efficient IT landscape, with a focus on integrating systems and platforms.
Develop, implement, and optimize solutions using scripting, programming, and DevOps tools.
Build integrations and standardizations for scalable, manageable processes.
Collaborate with developers and IT teams to manage code changes and optimally align systems with organizational needs.
Analyze and resolve technical challenges, with an eye for sustainable and creative solutions.
Develop tools and integrations that improve internal processes and user experience.
Work with key users to optimize processes and roll out new functionalities in a structured manner.
Translate business needs and user stories into end-to-end technical solutions.
Work with Infrastructure-as-Code, pipelines, Terraform, Python, C#, and various Azure services (such as Service Bus, Function App, Logic App, Storage Accounts, Synapse).

Requirements

Completed HBO (higher professional education) or WO (university) degree in an IT-related field.
Several years of experience in a role where development and operations converge, for example as a DevOps Engineer.
Technical knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, pipelines, Terraform, Python, C#, Azure services, and experience with data platforms such as Data Lakes and Synapse is a plus.
Strong insight into IT processes and the interplay between development and infrastructure.
Ability to maintain overview, think solution-oriented, and work procedurally.
Team player who can communicate well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiar with Agile and DevOps principles, and experienced in iterative development processes.
Willingness to further develop in the field of data platforms and integrations.
Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
