UAB “MN Technologijos” is the IT Development Hub for Mysterium Network. Mysterium Network is dedicated to making the internet borderless by building an open-source ecosystem of protocols, tools, and infrastructure powered by a globally decentralized network of nodes. This empowers builders and users to access free information.

We are seeking a dedicated, methodical, and versatile DevOps engineer with a passion for investigating and solving complex technical issues and high availability challenges. The ideal candidate can quickly adapt to shifting approaches, situations, and priorities and will work with a team venturing into uncharted territory: creating a protocol capable of routing and encrypting world traffic via a decentralized node network and accompanying technologies.

Responsibilities

Design and develop infrastructure and related services around the Mysterium network, taking ownership of internal services and infrastructure.
Create clean and maintainable infrastructure as code.
Implement backup, centralized logging, monitoring, and load balancing solutions for services.
Collaborate with the team to solve Linux and networking problems.
Assist and provide constructive feedback for architectural solutions.
Perform Linux system administration.
Ensure fluent Kubernetes and containerization skills.
Apply strong troubleshooting skills, including hands-on experience with debugging tools and a deep understanding of underlying system and network operations.

Requirements

Knowledge of IP networking and distributed systems.
Practical understanding of SSL certificates, public-key infrastructures, cryptography, and secure design.
Self-motivated, ambitious, flexible, self-sufficient, and collaborative mindset.
5+ years of experience maintaining infrastructure.

Nice to Have

Passion for Open Source projects.
Proficiency in any programming or scripting languages (Golang, Python, Bash, Java, C/C++).
Advanced degree (M.S., Ph.D.) in a relevant field.
Experience with blockchain/crypto projects.
Experience using cloud platforms (AWS, Hetzner, Scaleway, DigitalOcean).
Experience using monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Telegraf).
